FOCUS TERM PRODUCT UPDATE

Effective June 15, 2009 West Coast Life will implement the following updates to the Focus Term Series product.

• The annual policy fee will increase on the $250,000 and $1,000,000 rate bands for all new policies to $60 for the 10-year and 15-year products.
• The per unit rates will generally increase in most cells and rate bands on Focus Term Series.

ACCI-FLEX APPLICATION NEWS

Assurity is in the process of updating the Acci-Flex insurance applications. States where the new application is available are: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CO, DC, DE, FL, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, LA, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NH, NM, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TN, WA, WI, WV and WY.

Please refer to Assurity’s website: https://assurelink.assurity.com on the Acci-Flex product page for new approvals and to see when the old application will no longer be accepted.
